Going strong for 57 years! (United Church Women)
We warmly welcome all ladies of the congregation of the church to join with us as often as they can. Our group meets approximately 9 times a year on the first Wednesday of the month. We begin with a social time at 9:30 am with coffee and morning treats. This is followed by a program including a Time of Worship and a Business meeting.
Our big yearly fund raiser is making turkey pies for sale. For this event we graciously appreciate all help from all our church family and friends.
These monies raised are used to carry out our yearly donations to: United Church Mission, funds needed for St Paul’s Church projects, our Foster Child, Christmas for Everyone,etc. Turkey Pie Project began in 1983.
We are part of the Official Board with our own elected UCW Representative.
The UCW takes part in the community WORLD DAY OF PRAYER EVENT plus host the event when it is our turn. The First Friday of March each year.
